TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
